Richard Wayne Chandler, age 78, of Boaz, KY, passed away at 8:55 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2015 at The Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Lourdes. Mr. Chandler was of the Baptist Faith, a retired pipefitter for BF Goodrich Chemicals in Calvert City, KY, a member of Masonic Lodge #127 and was in the Army National Guard. He played basketball for Lone Oak High School, loved UK Basketball, NASCAR and woodworking.
Mr. Chandler is survived by a daughter, Deborah Chandler of Murray, KY; two sons, Richard Chandler Jr. of Lone Oak, KY and Mark Chandler and wife, Lisa of Paducah, KY; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Long, Paul Robert Colwell, Chris Chandler, Shane Harper, Jennifer Chandler, Eric Chandler and McKenzie Chandler; five great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Chandler of Paducah, KY.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy Sue Wynn Chandler; second wife, Jane Ann Qualls Chandler; a daughter, Pamela Faye Harper; two sisters, Dorothy Gaines and Rachel Terrano. His parents were, Robinson Clayton Chandler and Bertie Mae Hall Chandler.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Houser Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with Jamey Boone officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
