Peggy S. Bates, 76, of Paducah, KY passed away at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at her home. She was a native of Portsmouth, OH and a member of First Church of the Nazarene. Peggy retired as a medical records clerk.
Survivors include two sisters, Joyce Ann Farmer and Connie McNeil both of Portsmouth, OH; two step-sons, Charles Bates, Huntsville, AL and Kenneth Bates, Orlando, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death was husband, James Bates; parents, Halick Salyer & Anna Salyer; one sister and one brother.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Josiah Henry officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
