Norma June Belcher, 84, of Metropolis, IL, formerly of Paducah, KY, passed away at 5:15 am on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was the retired office manager for Ray Black & Sons Construction. She loved her family and all the children she watched after, from babysitting to working the nursery at First Christian Church, treating each of them like her own.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Belcher and wife, Linda of Paducah; brother, Raymond Shelton and wife, Louise of Paducah; two grandchildren, Christy Davis and husband Bradley of Goshen, KY; Todd Belcher and wife, Sarah Beth of St. Matthews, KY; and two great grandchildren, Stella and Calliope Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years James Edward Belcher; one son, Craig Belcher, one sister; and three brothers.
Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery at a later date.
