Nettie L. Green, age 72, of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016, 9:45 p.m., at Baptist Health of Paducah.
Nettie was a member of the former Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church. She worked in domestics.
She is survived by three sons, Charles Davis, William Davis and Richie Davis and one daughter, Angela Davis-Watson, all of Paducah; one stepson, Eddie Green and three step-daughters, Ada Green, Mary L. White and Betty Muse, all of Paducah; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Frank R. George of Dayton, OH and Stephen Johnson of Paducah; four sisters, Martha Boyd of Paducah, Anita Taylor and Judy Taylor, both of High Point, NC, and Jan Johnson Ray of Mebane, NC; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Garfield Green, Sr. and her parents, John L. Boyd and Hazel Grubbs Johnson.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 7, 2016, 1:00 p.m., at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home. Reverend Michael Wade will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
