William Nelson Carver, 77, of Paducah, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Baptist Health Paducah.
He was retired from Electric Energy in Joppa, Illinois and was a U.S. Army veteran. He attended Arcadia United Methodist Church. He was a loyal Kentucky Wildcat basketball fan and loved St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Carver; his children, Bonnie (Glen) Loe, Rodney Carver and their mother, Gail M. Carver. He is also survived by two grandsons, Chris Loe and Nick Loe, along with two sisters, Faye (Robert) Jones and Suzie (David) Tingle, all of Paducah.
Nelson was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mildred Carver and three brothers, Joe Carver, Rex Carver and Don Carver.
Services will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jenean Tinsley officiating.
