Michael D. Amis, 63, of Paducah passed away at 11:37 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 at Mercy Health Lourdes. He was a native of Paducah. Michael was retired from Ingram Barge Company as a River Dispatcher. He was a 1973 graduate of Paducah Tilghman Hish School.
Michael is survived by his sisters, Phyllis Mutchler and husband Dr. Brad Mutchler of Paducah, Kentucky and Charlotte Duncan of Lexington, Kentucky; nephews, Jason Duncan and wife Kim of Georgetown, Kentucky and Matthew Mutchler of Louisville, Kentucky; great nephews, Taylor Duncan and Parker Duncan of Georgetown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Amis and Margie Elizabeth Amis and his brother, Pete Amis.
Private family graveside services will be held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
