Mary Wanda Black, 93, of Bardwell, Kentucky, passed away at 7:05 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019.
Mary was the co-owner of Black Implement Sales. She was a member of the Eastern Star #485, the Carlisle County Homemakers and served with the Lourdes Hospital Auxiliary “Pink Ladies” for over 25 years. Mary attended Morris Valley Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Mullins and husband Randal of Bardwell, Kentucky; her son, Larry “L.T.” Tillas Black and wife Nancy of Bardwell, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Carol Berndt, Tiffany McCuan, Jason Hoskins and Lance Black; six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Harry T. Black; parents, William Tilman and Cora V. Jennings Felts; her son, Harry Phillip Black, and two brothers, Alton H. and Tilman Wayne Felts.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday October 1, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Revs. Bill Roberts and Mark Burnett officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell.
