Mary Lou Bishop, 78, of Bardwell, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at her residence.
She was born on February 7, 1941 in Burkley, Kentucky to the late Elmer Thomas Todd and the late Mary Louise Johnson Todd. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Teliese LaShell Moore and husband, Jimmy of Paducah, Renee LaJean Bishop of Fancy Farm; five grandchildren, Timothy Hobbs, Matthew Hobbs, Melissa Clark, Ashley Fowler, Alex Moore; ten great-grandchildren and three special “adopted” grandchildren, Destite Gore, Nathanial Purcell, Gloriana Purcell.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Johnny Bishop; two sons, Raymond Thomas Bishop, Roger Dale Bishop; two sisters, Avenell Todd Forrester, Rachel Annette Todd; four brothers, James Thomas Todd, Robert Frazier Todd, Hugh Ray Todd, Worley Jewell Todd; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Rev. Kevin Riley officiating. Burial will follow the service at Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell.
