Mary Ann Payne, 75, of Paducah, died Friday, February 12, 2016 at Gaither Suites.
Mary Ann was born in Benton, Illinois on November 29, 1940 to the late Jim and Jack Mathis Sneed. She was a hairdresser and caregiver. Playing bridge with friends was one of her favorite hobbies.
She is survived by her loving family, children Sallie Ann Bando of Montana and Ode Day of Paducah; grandchildren, Natalie, Dakota, and Zachary House; sisters, Villa Aschenbrenner and Patty Connor; and nieces and nephews, Shannon Anne Overstreet, Shawn Richardson, Shane Richardson, Leigh Ann Cleland, and Wade Wilcox.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Carl Payne; son, Scott House; and her parents.
Mary Ann was a kind, gentle soul who showed her love by having a constant smile on her face. Her greatest wish would be for everyone to show kindness and love toward their family, friends, and community.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
