Marcus K Cooper, 53 of Paducah KY went to heaven December 15, 2014 at about 6:00 PM. Marcus had a stroke while vacationing in South Carolina and he died at MUSC in Charleston SC.
Marcus was born in Paducah KY. His parents are Opal and Marcus Cooper. Marcus graduated from St. Mary High School. He attended Murray State and played tennis.
Marcus was a salesman for CRS One Source. He was a member of the Motts Racing Team and attended Heartland Worship Center. Marcus had a great love for the game of tennis, racing and UK basketball. He was passionate about all of them.
Marcus is survived by his daughter, Rachel Wright and husband Chad Wright. Sister, Tammy Zimmerman and husband Mike Zimmerman. His parents are Marcus and Opal Higdon Cooper . All are from Paducah, KY
Marcus was the best brother, son, friend and father anyone could have. He was the best!!
The funeral service will be Sunday, December 21,2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heartland Worship Center with Dr. Nathan Joyce officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodland Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah from 4-8 p.m. and after 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2014 at the Heartland Worship Center. A celebration of his life will be at Red Hill Farm, his sister’s farm, 1965 Gholson Road, West Paducah, KY 42086 after the burial.
