Malinda Rue Klope, 79, of West Paducah, KY, passed away at 9:35 pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Mrs. Klope was pianist for The Harmonaires Quartet for 55 years and worked for Bright’s. She was a lifelong member of High Point Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Lee Klope; four sons, Darrell Klope and wife Pam of Harrisburg, IL, Terry Klope and wife Gale of W. Paducah, KY, Kevin Klope and wife Pam of W. Paducah, KY, Craig Klope and wife Laura of Mt. Juilet, TN; one sister, Hilda Rae Porter of Moorpark, CA; one brother, Norman Thomas Massey and wife Frankie of W. Paducah, KY; nine grandchildren, Andrew Klope and wife Megan, Adam Klope and wife Kayla, Olivia Klope Mitchner and husband Daren, Aaron Klope, Hannah Klope, Braden Klope and wife Renae, Austin Klope, Makenzie Klope; seven great-grandchildren, Ariana Klope, Annalise Klope, Aiden Klope, Jackson Klope, Kianna Klope, Micah Klope, Carter Klope; one step great-grandson, Daren Mitchner, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, John Eric Klope; brother-in-law, Daniel Porter; parents, Thomas Andrew Massey and Hilda Sholar Massey.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 2, 2016 at High Point Pentecostal Church with Rev. Doug Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
