Lloyd “Butch” Hudson, 71, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 4:55 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital. He was born in Springfield, Tennessee. Butch was a retired Technician having worked for Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technologies. He was a member of Reidland Baptist church and Communication Workers of America. Butch enjoyed NASCAR, UK Basketball, listening to oldies music, classic cars and spending time with his family. He took great pride in his home and landscaping.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Shirley Whitis Hudson; three daughters, Tina (Michael) Iervese of Idaho Falls, Jennifer (David) Pace of West Paducah, Kentucky and Rebecca Hudson of Paducah, Kentucky; two sons, Kerry Egner of Paducah, Kentucky and Grant Hudson of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Marie (Marvin) Dalton of Chuluota, Florida and Ann (Max) Edwards of Calvert City, Kentucky; two brothers, Joe ( JoAnne ) Hudson of Ledbetter, Kentucky and Vernon (Liz) Hudson of Paducah, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Tyler King, Emily Pace, Gavin Pace, Dylan Pace, Heath Hudson, Aaron John (Jenna) Iervese. Josh Iervese, Jackson Iervese and several nieces and nephews.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Martha Virginia Armstrong Hudson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Farrish Sahawneh officiating. Burial will follow at Hardmoney Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
