Leta Rutland

Mrs. Leta Rutland, 77, of Murray, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Clinton Place in Clinton, Kentucky. Mrs. Rutland was born on July 14, 1941 in Calloway County to the late Hafford Adams, Sr. and Laverne Hale Adams. Leta was a member of Westside Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Jamie Don Rutland; grandparents, Evert and Effie Adams as well as Albert and Letie Hale and one niece, Ginger Adams. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Don Rutland of Murray to whom she married on April 1, 1972; two brothers, Hafford Adams, Jr. (Joanna) of Murray, Isaac Adams (Marie) of Michigan; one grandchild, Cory Rutland; two great grandchildren, Skyler Rutland and Scarlett Rutland; three nephews, Scott Adams, Andy Adams and Tony Adams and two nieces, Kara Orr and Kim Rexwinkle. The funeral service for Mrs. Rutland is set for 2 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray. Carl Butler will officiate and burial will follow at Temple Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Herbert Avery, Cory Rutland, Scott Adams, Andy Adams and Mike Miller. The family of Mrs. Rutland will receive visitors from 11 am-2 pm on Sunday, Decmeber 2, 2018 at the funeral home. Imes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
