Laura Mae Carper Willett

Laura Mae Carper Willett, 72, of Paducah, passed away 7:10 pm on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Laura worked in retail sales and loved to quilt, paint, and her jig saw puzzles.

She is survived by her two sons, Philip Willett and wife, Betty of Paducah, Andrew Willett and wife, Angie of Huntsville, AL; two sisters, Vernette Dowdy of Nashville, TN, Helen “Totsie” Green of Paducah; brother, Tommy Carper of AZ; five grandchildren plus several other step grandchildren that she treated like her own. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Streat Carper and Rosella Smith Carper; and one sister, Frances Rogers. 

A graveside service for Laura will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Clarks River Cemetery in Symsonia, with Rev. Mike Moynahan officiating.    Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home .
