Larry E. Johnson, age 67, of Paducah, KY passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Mr. Johnson was a strong, godly man who did everything with the upmost dignity and integrity. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather who was loved by everyone because of his honest and caring personality. Larry loved horses and his family, and cherished the times he got to spend with his family. He was a member of Heartland Church and was an employee for Federal Material for the past 36 years.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sheri Sheets Johnson; his two sons, Matt Johnson and wife Kristi of Paducah and Brent Johnson and wife Jennifer of Paducah; his mother, Allen F. Johnson of Paducah; his sister, Aleshia Cron of Paducah; and 6 grandchildren, Madison Johnson, Brennen Johnson, Eva Johnson, Chaney Johnson, Anna-McCall Johnson and Finley Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ira Earl Johnson, and his sister, Vicki Powers.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Heartland Church with Rev. Jason Burnett officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Sharpe.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Heartland Church and from 10:00 and until the service time on Wednesday.
