LaToya Ometress Marks, age 44, of Paducah, formerly of Cairo, IL, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, 8:30 a.m., at her residence.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Meridian High School, attended Shawnee Community College, and worked as a caregiver.
She is survived by two brothers, Michael Marks of Peoria, Il and Tyran Marks of Cario, IL; three sisters, Frances Lee of Cairo, IL, Phyllis Nichols of Peoria, Il and Stacey Marks of Paducah; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Coolidge Marks and Lorean Younger Marks, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 15, 2018, 12 Noon at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Anthony Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call on the family at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m., until the funeral hour.
