Joyce Ann Gill, 75, of Paducah, Kentucky & Sarasota, Florida and formerly of Henderson, Kentucky passed away at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Doctors Hospital in Sarasota, Florida.
Joyce graduated from Heath High School in McCracken County in 1962. She was a housewife and avid golfer in the tri-state area winning many tournaments. She also took up flying and received her single engine licenses in 1984. She was a member of Crossroads Christian Church in Newburg, Indiana.
Joyce is survived by her husband James of 48 years, sons, Shawn J. “Joey” Gill and wife Sandy of Henderson, David Gill of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Larry Crotchett and wife Diane of Austin, Texas and Dewey Crotchett of Paducah; one sister, Dawn Butler of Paducah; four grandchildren, Jacob Buckalew, Elaine Stone Bundgaard and husband Brandan Stone Bundgaard, Sophie Gill and Justin Buckalew and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James C. & Mary Elizabeth (Harris) Crotchett and one brother, Gary Crotchett.
Services will be at Milburn Chapel, 3760 Metropolis Lake Road, West Paducah, KY 42086 on Saturday, January 26, 2018 with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and memorial service beginning at 12:00 noon.
Private services for burial at the Scott Cemetery will be held at a future date.
