Jonathan A. Shelton, age 64 of Paducah, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at his residence. Jonathan was a graduate of Lone Oak High School and Murray State University. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and a retired math teacher from Livingston County. Jonathan was an avid golfer and spent a lot of time at Rolling Hills Country Club with his friends. He loved to watch University of Kentucky Basketball.
Survivors include his mother, Faye Angell Shelton of Paducah; two brothers, Eddie Shelton of Paducah and Tom Shelton and wife, Sharon of Sharpe, KY; nieces and nephews, Melissa Shelton, Matt (Anna) Shelton, Francis Shelton and Buck Shelton; several great nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding in death was his father, William E. “Bill” Shelton.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Don Houston officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Mt. Kenton Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
