Johnnie Garland, 89, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 10:50 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Lourdes.
Mrs Garland was a housewife and a member of Olivet Baptist Church.
Mrs. Garland is survived by a daughter, Patricia Burkhart of Murfreesboro, TN; a son, Larry James Garland and wife Beverly of Paducah, KY; two grandchildren, Carrie Davis and husband, Dustin of Benton, KY and Taylor Scoggin of Paducah, KY; six great grandchildren, Kaylee Scoggin, Keaton Scoggin, Emma Buckman, Anna Buckman, Paxton Davis and Elizabeth Davis; a sister, Linda Ryan of Paducah, KY; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Garland; a sister, Sue Tucker; brothers, Leon Roberts and James Roberts. Her parents were John E. and Lola Mae Young Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Gary Millraney officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
