Joan Neihoff age 88, of the St. John community passed away at 6:23 a.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center. Joan was a member of the St. John Catholic Church.
She was born on September 18, 1931 to the late Alonzo Benjamin Milam & Allie Diann Nance Milam in Buchanan, TN. Joan loved her family, having people visit her, cooking and canning vegetables.
Survivors include two daughters, Diann (Denis) Wurth and Cindy (Steve) Kneer; two sons, Dwayne (Terry) Neihoff and David Neihoff all of Paducah; seven grandchildren, Sherry (Pete) Grace, Stephanie Wurth, Stephen (Mandy) Wurth, Christy Neihoff, Trista (Reed) Cochran, Marisha (Blake) Coursey and Kelly (Chris) Sterrie; seven great-grandchildren, Allie Grace, Carric Grace, Caroline Wurth, Claire Wurth, Wyatt Wurth, Dylan Coursey and Landry Coursey; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death was her husband, Charles Edwin Neihoff; parents; five sisters, Velda Torian, Evelyn Babb, Sadie Babb, Audrey Neihoff and Kay Reeves; and one brother, Chuck Milam.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at the St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Bruce Fogle officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rosary to begin at 5:00 p.m.
