Jean Rodgers Burton, 86, of Paducah passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Mrs. Burton was a homemaker and active member of Heartland Worship Center. She enjoyed volunteering at the church in her spare time.
Surviving are two sons, Ronnie Savage and wife, Karen of Chattanooga, TN; Ricky Savage and wife, Tana of Calvert City; one brother, Kenneth Rodgers of Alabama; two sisters, Mary Lou Harris of Paducah, Rosie Lee Hagood of Kevil; three grandchildren, Todd Savage, Corey Savage, Stacie Cain all of Chattanooga, TN; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Burton. Her parents were Willie and Bredgit Rodgers.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Nathan Joyce officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 11:00am to funeral hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.
