Helen M. Nugent, age 93 of Paducah and formerly of Hawesville, Kentucky passed away at 9:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at her daughter’s home. She was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church and life-long homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Helen Moss and husband Bill of Paducah; one son, Richard Nugent and wife, Marilyn of Lubbock, Texas; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death was her husband of 62 years, Bryant J. Nugent; parents, Lee Roy Krahwinkel and Sophia Elliot Krahwinkel; one sister, Edna Barr Krahwinkel Conner.
Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel Miner & Orr Funeral Home with Dr. Willis Henson and Norman Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
