Gloria Russell Tilford, 62, of West Paducah, KY passed away
at 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at her residence. She was a member of
the Bethel Christian Church. Gloria was instrumental in the organization,
planning of activities and retreats of the Community Youth Group known as the
Electric Youth. Gloria served on the West Area Disciples of Christ Board. She
was the Registrar for the Purchase area Walk of Emmaus, she was a volunteer
Chaplain for Baptist Health Paducah and was a graduate of Heath High School.
Gloria enjoyed being a ministers wife, a mother to her children and a
grandmother to her wonderful grandchildren.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Rev. Keith Tilford of West Paducah, KY; parents, Harold Russell and Jackie Carroll Russell of West Paducah, KY; 3 daughters, Kajeana Thomas and husband Bo of Elizabethtown, KY, Molly Whitson and husband Matt of Kevil, KY and Emily Kelley and husband Dr. John Kelley of West Paducah, KY; son, Russ Tilford and wife Kristen of Kevil, KY; 2 sisters, Glenda Bittner and husband Paul of West Paducah, KY, Greta Qualls and husband David of Kevil, KY; special aunt, Manda Blackwell and husband Willie of West Paducah, KY; 7 grandchildren, Brittany Thomas of Birksville, KY, Connor Tilford of Kevil, KY, Jack Thomas of Elizabethtown, KY, Cason Tilford of Kevil, KY, Grace Thomas of Elizabethtown, KY, Hadley Kelley of West Paducah, KY, Baylor Whitson of Kevil, KY and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Danny Holt officiating. Private graveside services will be held at the Bethel Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah and at 4:00 p.m. until the service on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah
