Gene Truman Riley, 83, of Melber passed away at 9:00 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his home.
Gene was a member of Owens Chapel United Methodist Church and retired from ICG Railroad. His hobbies were mowing his yard, working on lawn mowers and riding his three wheel bicycle.
He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Hummel of Melber; son, Todd Riley of Melber; and his granddaughter, Courtney Janee Hummel; several nieces and nephews and one very special niece Belva Munz.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, JoEtta Byrd Riley; two sisters, Jenell Burnett and Hester Sherron; and two brothers, Darse Riley and Hillard Riley. His parents were Ed Riley and Emma Lee Parker Riley.
Funeral services for Gene will be 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October, 3, 2018 at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Story officiating.
Visitation for Gene will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
