Gene Edward English Jr., 57, of Paducah died on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY.
Mr. English was a former deckhand and member of Calvary Baptist Church in Paducah.
Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly Jean Mallas of Clarksville, TN; one son, Kevin Hatch of Benton; his mother, Alice Reaves of Paducah, KY; one brother, Darrell Gore of Paducah; one sister, Lecenda Rahe Kilgore of Rockford, IL; three grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Edward English Sr.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
