Fred E. Shreve, 76, of Smithland, Kentucky passed away at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Lourdes Hospital. He was born in Fairfield, Illinois. Fred worked for Railroad as an Laborer and was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Army.
Fred is survived by his wife, Hazel Lee Anglin Shreve; daughter, Lisa Lee Shreve of Smithland, Kentucky; son, Ronnie Thomas Shreve of Smithland, Kentucky; sister, Betty Adams of Mayfield, Kentucky; brothers, Clifford Shreve of Reidland, Kentucky, Leroy Shreve of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Dylan Thomas Shreve. His parents were Olef and Ruby Bailey Shreve.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Tiline Cemetery with Rev. Joel Jackson officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
