Mr. Frankie L. Marasco, 75, of Murray, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray.

Frankie was born August 12, 1942 in Gulfport Mississippi to Pascal & Geneva Marasco. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Adeline and brother Jerry, nephews, Justin Holmes, Ricky and Raymond Taylor. 

Frank served in the Navy in 1963 - 1966 as he did the electrical panels for the Blue Angels. Frank was a floor covering contractor for over 40 years on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. His passion was being on his boat fishing, floundering and catching mullet. He loved helping others and anyone who met him knew they had a friend for life.

Frank was a wonderful husband married to Fredda Kaye Marasco for almost 53 years. He leaves behind three children, Nancy Callihan, Anthony and Steven (Marla) along with four grandchildren, Leslie Abramson (John), Jamie Davis, Tori and Aiden as well as four great-grandchildren.

Frank comes from a large family with two sisters Carolyn, Shirley and brother John (Margaret) who live on the coast as well as his Mother in Law, Nancy Tucker, Brother in Law David Tucker, and James (Judy) Taylor.

He will leave a huge hole in the hearts who loved him.

A Celebration of life is being planned in Mississippi for a later date.
