Ernestine Pettit Moss

Ernestine Pettit Moss, age 90, of Henderson, Kentucky (formerly of Wickliffe) passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, Kentucky.

Ms. Moss was a member of and Sunday School teacher at Immanuel Baptist Temple in Henderson.  She was a former member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.  She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a Kentucky Colonel.  She worked as a medical lab technician for thirty years at Wilburn Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

She is survived by her sister, Ruth Evelyn Mize of Wickliffe and five nephews, Robert Scholes, Michael Scholes, Clay Pettit, Paul Pettit, and Mark Pettit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Molly Rye Pettit; a sister, Angie Lois Scholes; and a brother, Thomas Pettit.

Funeral services for Ms. Moss will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Fraser officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethlehem Church Cemetery of Wickliffe.  Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
