Ella Patton Mitchell, 86, of Paducah, passed away at 2:05 P.M. Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Superior Care Home.
Ella was born in Dycusburg, KY on October 7, 1931 to Guy and Lois Patton. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and enjoyed working in her garden.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband, W. D. Mitchell; her son, Rodney Vaughn (Anastasia), of Kirkwood, Missouri; her sister, Bonnie Joiner, of Eddyville, Kentucky; her granddaughter, Audrey Vaughn, of Harrisburg, Illinois.
Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Vaughn; her parents, Guy Patton and Lois McKinney Patton; her sister, Estalee Zollinger; her brothers, Denver Patton, Ollie Patton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Bro. Steve Gorham officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, May 25, 2018 at the funeral home.
