Dorothy Mae Toler Frueh, 86, of Wickliffe, KY, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Dorothy was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 27, 1930to Glen and Emma Hogan Toler. She and her husband, Louis, moved to Wickliffe in 1973. Dorothy was a loving wife and mother, devoting herself to support her husband’s career and in the raising of their only child, Deborah. She exhibited talent in sewing, interior decorating, flower gardening and refurnishing furniture and cabinets. Deborah, an artist, could always count on her mother’s support and helpful critique of her work.
She leaves behind her devoted daughter, Deborah “Debi” Frueh and her partner, Mike McClelland of Wickliffe; sisters, Pat Kinzel of Illinois and Beverly Bowers of St. Louis, MO; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cats.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Louis Joseph Frueh; sisters, Betty Vogelsang and Glenda Fey; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Frank Queen officiating. Entombment will follow at Brooks Memorial Park.
Visitation will begin at 11am Saturday at the funeral home.
