Doris J. Benton, 80, of Metropolis, IL passed away at 3:55 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Paducah.
Ms. Benton was a Seamstress for American Cleaners and Tip Top Cleaners in Metropolis and she was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Anderson and husband Bobby of Paducah; two brothers, Harry Turner of MO, Alan Turner of MO; one sister, Peggy Zahner of MO; two grandchildren, Miranda Freeman, Dustin Freeman; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Harrison Turner and Camilla K. (Mousette) Abercrombie.
There will be no service or visitation held at this time.
