Dathel Latham, 85, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Parkview Nursing Home.
She was born on April 4, 1933 in Graves County, Kentucky to the late Milburn and Alpha Berry Shobe. She worked for Bell South and retired from JC Penney. She was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Heater and husband Howard, of Paducah; son, John Latham and wife Karen, of Paducah; two sisters, Dr. Fae Logsdon of Cleveland, TN and Sharon Ivey of Union City, TN; three grandchildren, Whitney Moats of Saginaw, TX, Taylor Latham of Decatur, TX and Joshua Heater of Paducah; and four great grandchildren, Hazel Moats, Griffin Moats, Audrey Latham and Isabella Heater.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harmon Lee Latham, her parents and three sisters, Janelle Weaver, Joyce Moses and Wanda Newsom.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
