Mr. Thurby was a retired river pilot.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Donna Crouch of Evansville, IN; his girlfriend, Lisa McKnight of ST. Charles, KY; his mother, Joyce Ann Thurby of Paducah; two brothers, Harry Don Thurby Jr. and Edward Vincent Thurby of Paducah; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Powell of Paducah and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Julianne Thurby and his father, Harry Don Thurby Sr.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 12:00pm at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial to follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the funeral home.
