Daniel Chatel, 76, of Hardin, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah.
He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Sullivan and husband, Phillip of Bluffton, SC and Michelle Chatel-Foutz of Grantville, PA; one son, Daniel Chatel Jr. and wife, Annette Chatel of Mount Cory, OH; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. His beloved dot Jackson will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Chatel Sr. and Antoinette Chatel; and his brother, Louis Chatel.
He was born in Lynn, MA and started his career at Lynn Plastics Co. where he worked for a number of years. He moved to Annville, PA and started his own company, Lebanon Unfinished Furniture where his love of woodworking grew and flourished. Later in life Double D Enterprises was born and he spent he last part of his career in the jewelry business. When he retired he moved to Kentucky because of his love of the outdoors and the lake. He enjoyed woodworking, country music and visits with his grandchildren.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn, MA.
