Charlie “Chuckie” Lee Wright, Sr., 61, of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015, 10:20 pm, at Baptist Health of Paducah.
He is survived by Three sons, Charlie Wright, Jr., Eric Wright, and Bill Smith all of Milwaukee, WS; Two daughters, LaTonya Wright of Columbus, OH and Shavonya Wright of Milwaukee, WS; 11 grandchildren; Six brothers, Lydia Wright, Jr. of Blytheville, AR, Samuel Jackson of Milwaukee, WS, Larry Wright and Freddy Wright both of Gary, IN, Theras Wright of Chicago, IL, and Bruce Wright of Paducah, KY; Two sisters, Carolyn Wright of Little Rock, AR and Penny Wright of Seattle, WA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Chuckie was preceded in death by his parents, Lydia Wright, Sr. and Velda Ruth Childress Wright; two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015, 12:00 noon at Burks Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with Reverend B. Kennedy and Reverend Rita Story officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may also call at Burks Chapel A.M.E. Church on Saturday, March 28, 2015, from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
