Charles Raymond age 86, of Paducah died Monday, September 15, 2014 at 1:35 a.m. at Baptist Health Paducah. He was a native of Brooklyn, New York and of Catholic faith. Charles was involved for ten years with the Youth Bowling Program in Paducah and he enjoyed bowling for many years. Charles was an avid New York Yankee fan and enjoyed reading. He was retired operator from Atochem formerly Penwalt of Calvert City, KY with 35 years of service. Charles was a veteran of U.S. Army.
Survivors include one son, Charles Anthony (Tony) Raymond of Paducah; one daughter, Cathy Riley and husband Mike of Paducah; one sister, Rose Hoyt of CT; one brother Frank Raimondo of Hawley, PA; three grandchildren, Bryan (Meredith) Riley, Keith (Michelle) Riley and Angela (Cory) Turner; two great-grandchildren, Emma Riley and Dylan Riley; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death was his parents, Rosario Raimondo & Marian Andolora Raimondo, three sisters and one brother.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Benton Cemetery in Benton, KY with Rev. Tom Buckman officiating. Friends may call Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
