Charles Phillip Roundtree, age 59, of Paducah, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020, 5:00 p.m. at his residence.
Phillip was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Metropolis, IL, and was a formerly employed with Pizza Inn and Tooye’s Sports Bar.
Phillip loved sports, jazz and was an all around comedian.
He is survived by his mother, Hertha M. Roundtree Jackson of Decatur, IL; one daughter, Egypt Crider of Atlanta, GA; six brothers, Eugene (Alice) Roundtree, Joe Roundtree, and Jerry Roundtree, all of Decatur, IL, Ronald (Marsha) Roundtree of Paducah, Michael Roundtree of Metropolis, IL, and William Edward (JoAnne) Roundtree of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters, Joyce M. Roundtree of Paducah and Marcia E. Roundtree of Milwaukee, WI; one brother-in-law, Phillip Barfield of Paducah; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Solomon O. Roundtree; his step-father, Charles Jackson; two brothers and two sisters.
In compliance with the requirements for Kentucky Funeral Homes set forth by Governor Andy Beshear and the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky, all funeral services and burials are private.
