Charles Myrick, age 83, of Paducah passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 2:30 p.m. at Addington Place at College Harbor Nursing Home in St. Petersburg, FL.
Charles was a previous member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Reidland, KY. Charles worked at Myrick’s Grocery store alongside his uncle, Lester Myrick, for 53 years until it closed in 2003, retiring thereafter. Charles supported Paducah by being an Ambassador to the City. Charles moved to Florida after the death of his wife, Joyce to be closer to his family.
Survivors include his son, Todd Myrick and wife, Melissa, of Tierra Verde, FL; his brother, Bob Myrick and wife, Sue, of Lone Oak and his granddaughter, Makenna Myrick (his “Sweetie”).
Preceding in death were his parents Ralph Harold Myrick and Leona Curnel Myrick; and his wife, Joyce McIntosh Myrick.
Services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Burks officiating. Burial will follow at Brook Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday, June 29, 2019, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
