Charlene Hayden, 76, of Paducah, passed away, 8:45 am Thursday, May, 30, 2013 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
She was a member of Destiny Church, the Reidland Farley Women’s Club, and the Democratic Women’s Club.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Connie Eugene Hayden; two daughters, Rhonda Hayden of Paducah, Cynthia Hayden Burns and husband Rev. Michael Burns of Long Island New York; four sons, Rev. Leland Hayden and wife Connie of Paducah, Wade Hayden and wife Jean of Paducah, Rev. Michael Hayden and wife Theresa of Paducah, and Bruce Hayden; four sisters, Frances Sanderson of Mayfield, Louise Tharp of Mayfield, Kay Gipson of Evansville, Margie A. Tarr of Mayfield; three brothers, Sam Dunnie Ellegood, of Mayfield, Charles Troy Ellegood of Arlington, A. Edward Ellegood of Las Vegas Nevada, eight grandchildren, Nathanael Hayden, Tara Hayden, Jason Hoover, Rachel Colson, Ragen Reed, Adam Gilbert, Joshua Hayden, Christopher Burns; eight great grandchildren, McKenna Hayden, Connor Hayden, Hannah Hoover, Gunner Hoover, Madyln Colson, Landon Colson, William Reed, Wyatt Gilbert; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister; three brothers; and her grandson Benjamin Hayden. Her parents were Leland Ivo and Mary Etta Hayden Ellegood.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hayden will be 11:00 am Monday, June, 3, 2013 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation for Mrs. Hayden will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday, June, 2, 2013 at the funeral home.
