Carlton “Buddy” Sparks, age 76 of Paducah, died Saturday, December 30, 2017 at his residence. He was born the son of the late Leslie Dale Sparks and the late Bessie Mae Glisson Sparks. He was a retired supervisor at L.S. DuBois. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and was also a member at West End Baptist Church in Paducah.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah with Rev. Wayne Carter and Rev. DeWayne Chadwick officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the funeral home. Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife: Margaret Sparks of Paducah; his son: Dr. Rodney Sparks (Beth) of Paducah; and two grandchildren: Weston Sparks and Addison Jones.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Billie Joe Sparks.
