Bobby Wells, 80, of Paducah KY, passed away at 8:50 PM Sunday, September 17, 2017 at his residence in Paducah.
Bobby was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, a 1956 graduate of Lone Oak High School, a retired plaster from Local #125, a member of Chiefs & Squares Square Dancing, an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his cat “Buttons.”
Bobby is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Joan Walker Wells of Paducah; two daughters, Tammy Jones of Carterville, IL & Joni Roethemeyer Gonzalez of Paducah; one son, Bradley (Tracey) Wells of West Paducah; one sister, Mag Wells Vallejo of Paducah; eight grandchildren, Heather (Mike) Slover, Emily Reamy, Savana Jones, Nathan Roethemeyer, Wesley (Nidia) Roethemeyer, Evangeline Gonzalez, Shannon (Brandon) Thompson, Brandon Wells &; three great-grandchildren, Josey Slover, Gracey Slover, Payton Mae Reamy and four step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond George & Mary Magdalene Tapsott Wells; two son-in-law, Joe Stanley Adkinson and Gary Jones; one sister, Betty Jean Keel and one brother, Billy J. Wells.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Thursday, September 21, 2017 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Fr. Bruce McCarty officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Paducah with military rites. Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Paducah. Prayers will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday.
