Bobby Wayne Johnson, age 69, of Kevil, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at his residence.
Bobby was born in Wickliffe on September 1, 1948 to Jesse Davis Johnson and Beulah Maude (Blanks) Johnson. Bobby was of the Baptist faith. Although he was a Truck Driver for 25 years, Bobby’s real passion was lawn care. He loved mowing yards and loved the customers he served. Outside of lawn care and driving, he also served eight years on the Cairo Police Department as an officer. Bobby loved his wife Bonnie dearly, and loved his step-children and step-grandchildren as though they were his own.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 16 years, Bonnie Griffith Johnson; two step-daughters, Tonya Hollon and husband, J.R. of La Center and Stacie Richerson of Paducah; one step-son, Henry Scott and wife, Autum of Paducah; one sister, Reta Lear and husband, Larry of Wickliffe; seven step-grandchildren and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Alice Johnson; two brothers, Jesse Johnson, Jr. and Donald Ray Johnson; and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Bobby Johnson will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral home of Wickliffe with Rev. Jamie Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. till time of service at the funeral home.
