Mr. Bobby J. Odom, age 75 of Benton, KY died on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. Born Monday, December 22, 1941 in Dearborn, MI, and worked for Tappan Stove Company in Murray, KY for 20 years an retired from the maintenance department at Kentucky Dam Golf Course. He was a member of Olive United Methodist Church in Hardin.
Mr. Odom is survived by his wife of 55 years Linda (Harrison) Odom of Benton, KY; sons, Robert Odom and his wife Susan of Benton, KY and Kevin Odom of Benton, KY, daughter, Teresa Robinson and her husband Jamie of Benton, KY; daughter-in-law Jeana Odom of Hardin, KY; seven grandchildren, Joshua Dale Odom, Preston Odom, Travis Odom, Holley Odom, Laken Robinson, Justin Robinson and Jared Robinson; two great-grandchildren Ethan and Harper and three step great-grandchildren Dillon, J.T and Haley.
Mr. Odom was preceded in death by his son Bobby Dale Odom, grandson Wesley James Odom and brother Charles Robert Odom and step-father Frank Odom. His parents were the late Clyde and Roma Mathis Odom.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Flatt and Rev. Rick Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Barnett Cemetery.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th Street, Benton, KY 42025.
