Bob Dillinger, age 90, of Paducah, Ky passed away at 4:32 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center surrounded by his loving family. Bob was a native of Carbondale, Illinois and a member of Paducah First Baptist Church. He loved so many and always wanted to help in some way. Bob was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He just loved people and had a fun way of pulling jokes on his friends. He was a former member of the Lions Club of Paducah, Propeller Club, KITM Traffic Club and was a Duke of Paducah and a Kentucky Colonel.
Bob had a long career in Management and Sales with freight companies such as Viking, Spector, Red Ball and Paschall Truck Lines. He was an avid Kentucky Basketball fan, loved his yard and flowers. He was a veteran of U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Clara Nel Donelson Dillinger; two daughters, Tina (Greg) Walker of Paducah and Dita Ann (Randy) Gardner of Nashville, TN; one grand-daughter, Morgan Elizabeth Walker of Paducah; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death were his parents, Jeff Dillinger & Madge Harris Dillinger; one sister, Betty Jean Slicker and one brother, Jackie D, Dillinger.
Services will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Military honors. Visitation will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 from 12:00 noon until service time of 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
