Billy Gene Fiser, 81, of Paducah, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital.
Billy was born on October 16, 1935 in Paducah, Kentucky to Rollie and Pansy Fiser.
In 1953 Billy graduated from Paducah Tilghman and attended Southern Illinois University. He enlisted in the US army in 1956.
Billy worked at Modine and then was employed by the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement at age 58. He was a member of Broadway Church of Christ.
Billy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing tennis, and telling stories and a joke or two.
Billy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Wanda Fiser, his daughter, Tracy Hargrove and husband David of Mayfield; two granddaughters, Ashley Davis of Denver, CO. and Skylar Hargrove of Danville, KY.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the funeral home with Dan Owen officiating. Entombment will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
