Billie Joe Sparks, age 77 of Paducah died Friday, September 15, 2017 at McCracken Nursing and Rehab in Paducah. He was born the son of the late Leslie Dale Sparks and the late Bessie Mae Glisson Sparks. He worked for the Ritz Hotel in Paducah for over 35 years. He was a member of West End Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah. Visitation will be Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah is in charge of arrangements. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to West End Baptist Church, 324 S. 28th St., Paducah, KY 42003.
He is survived by his brother: Carlton "Buddy" Sparks (Margaret) of Paducah; and his nephew: Rodney Sparks (Beth) also of Paducah.
