Betty Lamb

Mrs. Betty J. Lamb, 67, of Murray, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray. Ms. Lamb was born on October 23, 1949 in Buchanan, TN to the late Uristhma and Ruby Chilcutt Smith. She was a member of Ferguson Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lamb; a daughter, Janie Smith; two brothers, Jimmy and Richard Smith; two sisters, Frances Merrell and Rachel Taylor. Ms. Lamb is survived by a son, Johnny Lamb (Dawn) of Puryear TN; a daughter, Christie Lamb Hodges (Robert) of Murray; seven grandchildren, Emily Lamb of Murray, Matthew Williams of Murray, Allison and Austin Clark of Benton, Carrie and Travis Love of Murray, and Andrea Renee Garner of Paris, TN. No services are scheduled. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations towards Ms. Lamb's final expenses. Arrangements are entrusted to Imes Funeral Home and Crematory, downtown Murray.
