Bessie L. Carroll Freeman, 76 of Birdsville, Ky. passed away Friday September 20, 2019 at Baptist Health in Paducah, surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Birdsville Baptist Church.
She was a loving mother of three sons, Ricky (Heather) Freeman of Godfrey, IL. Michael (Darlene) Freeman, Kevin (Angie) Freeman all of Livingston County. One sister, Glennis (Kenneth) Cox of Evansville, IN. And grandchildren, Tabitha, Brandon, Brianna, Jessie, Jansen, Bella. And companion Harry Shelton of Mayfield. And several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Lorraine Hall Carroll. Her husband of 45 years, Charlie Freeman. Four brothers, Dorse, Shade, Robert and Tommy. Five sisters, Lucille, Kathleen, Magalene, Margaret and Bonnie. And two grandsons, Donnie and Joey.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Tuesday September 24, 2019 at Smith Funeral Chapel. With funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. With the Rev. James Driver officiating. Interment to follow at Birdsville Cemetery in Birdsville, KY.
