Mr. Avon Wayne "Bob" Fisk, age 80 of the Palma Community, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018, at his home.
Born Monday, October 31, 1938 in Marshall Co., KY, he was the son of the late Colvin Hayden Fisk and the late Esther (Smith) Fisk. He retired after 36 years of service with SKW Alloys in Calvert City where he was a Shipping Foreman. He was a member and Deacon of the New Harmony Baptist Church. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Linda (Hammer) Fisk of Palma, KY, sons, Mark Fisk, wife Stephanie of Gilbertsville, KY and Jeff Fisk, wife Robin of Somerset, KY, daughter, Lori Rudd, husband Kent of Benton, KY, son-in-law, Kevin Miller of Gilbertsville, KY, brothers, Dwain Fisk, wife Betty of Brewers, KY and Lanny Fisk, wife Ellen of Benton, KY, sisters, Gwen Bell Warford, husband Bill of Kevil, KY and Sharon Watkins, husband Gene of Benton, KY, sister-in-laws, Linda Carol Fisk and Karen Fisk. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Hannah, Jack, Jared, Luke and wife Courtney, Sidney, Ashlea, Shelly and Natalie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, by daughter, Debra Lynn Miller, brothers, Sammy Fisk and Irvan Marshall Fisk.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Penick officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Benton, KY.
There will be a joint visitation for Mr. Fisk and his daughter, Debra Lynn Miller on Saturday, December 8, 2018 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
