Anna Jean Hutchinson, age 87, passed away at her residence near Fancy Farm, at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2017.
She was a member of Morris Valley Christian Church. She worked as a cook at ICF nursing home, at Luke’s “Trails End” resturant, for “Meals on Wheels”, and on a riverboat. She also worked as a cashier for various convenient stores.
She is survived by her daughters, Jackie Beggs of Bardwell and Marcie Dudley and husband, Skip of Dupo, IL; her son, Mike Niemeyer and wife Cindy of Mayfield; step daughter, Rose Ann Floyd of Milburn; stepson, Kelly Hutchinson and wife, Monica of Bardwell; sister, Breta Jeffries of Bardwell; brother, Bill Martinie and wife Mary Sue of Bardwell; ten grandchildren, Jesse Beggs, Bobby Beggs, Terry Beggs, David Beggs, Rhyen Dudley, Marcie Byassee, Felisha Odem, Daniel Copeland, Donavon Rose, and Samatha Rose; twenty five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard “Mule” Martinie and Alice McGary; her first husband, George Niemeyer & second husband, Charles Norman Hutchinson; her sister, Theta Nicholson; her grandchildren, Roger Beggs and Bobbie Ann Rose.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Bardwell. Rev Danny Beggs will officiate with burial following in Kirbyton cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
